The staff here were super helpful, and we loved how close it is to Georgetown and Batu Ferringhi, just a short walk away. Our room was quiet and had a nice breeze coming through, with a lovely balcony to enjoy. 🌴

Thanks a lot everyone for a NICE stay during vacation. There was a soundproof and airy room with clean bathroom. The breakfast was tasty at 9.50am, we loved it. Location: the hotel was near to the Gurney shopping belt, a taxi and a bus stop which is good.

Perfect stay... Nice hotel, big room at very attractive rates with lovely pool & beach. We like the place very much & enjoyed our 2 nights stay & the most sincere statement from my children... They felt "out of country" being here at psbr. Tip : Don't miss to visit the night market @ long bazaar at Batu Ferigghi....and try the beach volley ball
Hope that psbr could consider to add the parking space for their valuable guest @ especially during school holidays

I spend 2 days 1 night there. My family have a lot of fun there playing on the beach and swimming in the seaside pool while I'm lay down on the beach surfing the internet. Monitoring my kids playing with the sand are lot easier because many chairs there located under the tree near the beach. Fun and relax. Beach panorama are amazing with white sand. Pool are clean and restaurant cafe are just opposite the pool. Just nice for me to have a cup of coffee.
the seawater are somehow grey in color although there is no mud when it came to the beach.

The swimming pool is nice and perhaps the only reason we stayed.
I think they only read my booking request (which I made about two weeks earlier) upon checking in at 3pm, I asked for a king sized bed and non smoking room. It took them very long to sort our room and I was finally given a 'non smoking' room smelling of smoke. When I complained, they changed me to another room at around 6 o'clock. The breakfast was a mess e.g. the butter (margarine?) coming from a large slab where everyone was supposed to dig in. They did have a variety of food though I prefer to have a small selection which is of good quality and well presented. The pool is now another story. Beware of the pool guards letting anyone into the pool with proper swimming attire or not. We therefore had people with t-shirts and track bottoms in the pool in a true 'semua pun boleh' style.

The well-maintained place offers excellent sea views with fairly quiet and bright rooms, exceptionally comfortable beds, and an amazing lobby restaurant.

The view from the room and the convenience of the beach from the swimming pool. It was just a few meters from the poolside. The water sports was also good, with Jetskis & parasailing.
The wireless access at the lobby & pool area was not good. Some days it was available, and on other days it wasn't even though I was connected to the wireless network. All the staff would say that it was beyond their control, even though the wireless network belongs to the hotel.

The Hotel is excellent in all respects and can be thoroughly recommended for both couples (young and old) and families. It was quite quiet while we were there in April but will get busier as the Summer progresses. There is a lot to see on the Island of Penang and there is a good cheap bus service everywhere. Taxis abound and are "reasonable". Both can be found immediately outside the hotel.
It is very difficult to find anything wrong with the Hotel itself. It is excellent - we have stayed there before and would do so again. The only point against is that it is not in the central area of Batu Ferringhi and you need a bus or taxi to get to the night markets and main eating areas.

The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to assist in any way possible to enhance your stay. I would like to say that our room boy (Ali) was excellent and made our room clean and presentable everyday. Our view was of the sea and the International School but from the 16th floor both appeared to be some distance away. We were also assisted by Virginia and Maria who gave an excellent impression of the hotel. The architecture and apparent spaciousness of the rooms and the hotel in general were very pleasing
Only 2 things really these were 1. the food other han Breakfast and being really nasty the fact that a German Lady, and I use the word Generously, seemed to have more privaleges than anyone else staying at the hotel. There was an excellent spot around the pool for both shade and sunbathing which took about 6 beds this "Lady" commandeered all 6 and if you dared to encroach on them she would let fly withh some German words that I have never heard before and I was in the Army stationed in Germany. I think that the pool staff were somewaht afraid of her, as I would have been, but because of this she got her own way
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
